About Us
A 501(c)(3) non-profit committed to a wide range of business and financial literacy workshops, designed to empower struggling communities and create lasting change.

(01)What Is FLTA
Our mission is to liberate individuals from financial triggers and the lack of healthy financial options and strategies. We believe the most effective way to create lasting change is by addressing the three areas most impacted by financial challenges.

(02)Our Goals
The Big 3 impacts the very foundation of society, from negative spending cycles driven by a lack of financial awareness, to youth who adopt unhealthy money habits over time.
These emotional spending patterns have contributed to homelessness for millions across the country, perpetuating cycles of poverty and instability. At FLTA, we disrupt these patterns with education and resources that empower individuals to make healthier financial choices, building stronger, more resilient communities.
(03)How We Do It
Weekly reentry finance programs inside California state prisons equip returning citizens with credit, saving, budgeting, and employment skills, reducing the triggers that lead to recidivism and financial crime.
Our 15-week, all-inclusive program in partnering transitional homes gives returning citizens financial literacy, business skills, and credit management tailored to their reentry, with achievable goals and real stability.
